Heifers were quite anxious and hot headed in the yards, mostly having a bigger flight zone, and wanting to keep away from the handler. Saying this, they were brought up by a single handler, and drafted off the calves by a single handler. They travel through the yards & gateways quite quickly and self fed up the race. Most standing very still in the crush, just anxious about the process. Different cattle out in the paddock if you approach them in the Polaris. Happy to stand for photos and video’s

Even lot of young mothers that are doing an exceptional job with their young calves. Well bred females, being Te Mania, Table Top & Onslow Angus bloodlines. These females have only been running on basic, short dry pastures and have proven themselves as mothers, all rearing a very well looked after, bright eyed, sappy Table Top calf. Calves that have never missed a feed or had to see a tough day despite the late season.
