Generally heifers were good to handle in the yards and through the crush. Seven heifers became agitated in the crush but after returning to the mob and being allowed to settle were easy to handle

A terrific line of young Charolais Heifers on their first calf. These heifers were purchased in February as a lot of PTIC heifers and a lot of Heifers with small calves at foot. They now present as a outstanding line of heifers with calves ranging from 1 to 4 months. The Heifers weighed 538kgs full at assessment and a sample mouthing revealed they were 2 and 4 tooth heifers. They have been grazing on an oat crop for the last 6 weeks and are doing a great job on their calves. the calves averaged 130kgs and there was 10 unmarked males and 13 heifer calves. The heifers are unjoined allowing the purchaser to join to a bull of their choice. A terrific unit with all their lives ahead of them. Please note Vendor has another lot of Cows and Calves in same sale.
