Assessor Comments
A very good line of 233 Crossbred cows and 222 Santa cross calves with cows expected to continue calving. These are breeder-type cows doing an excellent job on their calves while maintaining strong condition, providing a very good trading opportunity or to calve down and keep the calves. Cows do range from 2yrs to 14yrs (with 70% being 9 to 14yrs). Some cows with older calves may have reconciled prior to bull removal in March. Calves sampled at 55% male, 45% female — approx. 60 branded/marked; remainder NLIS tagged at delivery. An additional 45 heavier cows with younger calves (avg. 620kg curfew) were not assessed but may be included. Final numbers may vary slightly; springers or very small calves will not be trucked. Please also note the slight faults being down or capped hips, 2 dog bites, 3 loose horns, on cow has no tail. Please do not hesitate to contact assessor if you have any questions.

The cow herd is comprised of purchased cows of mixed breeding, Santa, Droughtmaster, Angus, Charolais, Brahman X and a very odd F1 Wagyu cow.
