Cows can be anxious under pressure in yards, they are sensitive to pressure but not aggressive. Approx 20% stirred up in crush. However where also being preg tested. They will require experienced handlers. On vehicle inspection cows were generally settled. Cows generally settled once in cooler after processing. Used to overhead draft only.

Line of vendor bred brahman cows. Store to forwards store condition, PREG TESTED IN CALF 2-8 months by VET. 24% under 3 months, 76% over 4 months. Joined to good quality red brahman "Bungoona & Gypsy Plains" bulls with a small percentage over 7 months PTIC expected to be by an Angus bull. These cows are generally medium to larger frames with ample body score to rear calf however are showing affects of age. Some conformation & structural issues due to age. Colours include 30% grey, 22% honey & 42% red, 6% brown/black. Approx 20% of cows display long toes which does not appear to be affecting animal performance. Possible 2 hd with small dog bite scars. Fly bites present on approx 5 cows. Opportunity to source cows from a quality herd, with majority Bungoona brahman bloodlines. Temperament is sound on the mob but experienced handlers are recommended.

Dams are Bungoona Brahman bloodlines used for past 30 years. Out of a high grade quality brahman cows, By majority "Bungoona" brahman + droughtmaster
Grazing Conditions
Green mitchell / flinders grass pastures with ample winter herbages growing throughout after recent continuing wet season. Cattle are on a rising plane of nutrition.

Line of our Cull for age cows from a large breeder herd north of Julia Creek. These cows have been good performers from our herd and are only removed due to age. As with all aged cows there is some that get temperamental if over handled.
