Both Cows & Calves were good to handle throughout the assessment process. Cows drafted easily from calves & flowed efficiently through force yards & weigh station. Both cows & calves were accommodating when being maneuvered around on foot for media purposes.

24 x 24 EU Accredited Vendor bred Angus & Angus cross cows with Angus sired calves at foot.
Cows present in plain store to forward store condition, cows have been re-joined to a Glenmorgan Angus Bull for a 4 week period.
Calves present in healthy fresh condition. Calves were marked November 2024, received their initial 7 in 1 vaccination & male calves rung (castrated).
Note: Consignment of calves consist of 19 Angus calves & 5 Angus Cross Calves. See media.
Both cows & calves were subject an overnight curfew prior to assessment.
1 calf was treated with orbenin eye cream for a fresh pink eye at assessment.
All cows were mouthed at assessment, 23 cows were noted to have sound short mouths, indicative to their age, 1 cow was noted to be missing 1 front tooth.
Sale of cows represents a reduction in breeding females, presenting an opportunity to purchase a line of aged cows with established calves @ foot.
Vendor has another lot of 14 C&C in sale - total offering 38 cows & calves.
