Cows behaved well when mothering up. After being in and out of pens mothering some cows heated up and didn't block up as well. After weighing some cows took some time to settle but when put back with calves settled right down for photos. In a good set up with less pressure these cows would not give much trouble to handle.

Assessor Comments
A nice line of Charolais composite cows with their first calf at foot. These cows are ready to jump ahead given the right opportunity on more feed. Their calves are by composite bulls and are showing pleanty of shape and quality. Originally bred from the McClymont herd at Etta Plains Julia Creek for fertility and early growth. Although the weight doesn't show it these young cows are framey with plenty of room for big weight gains from their store condition.
