Heifers were a bit anxious throughout assessment. Moved through the yards well, and were brought up by a single handler, but just a bit nervous whilst doing so. Mostly good in the crush. The heifers listed above as slightly stirry were mostly weaving & stomping/stepping off the scales. Heifers were let out into a holding paddock for photos and settled well in a corner. Further education & some quiet handling will have them much more settled.

Exceptional line of the Brooklyn Pastoral Black Baldy Heifers. Always an impressive line of females, usually retained and offered at the Premier Female sale in January where they are sought after by repeat purchasers. These young females have an impressive genetics background, being bred from large framed Glendon Park Hereford Cows By select Riga Angus Bulls. They’re an excellent example of the Black baldy hybrid, being long, deep females with very good bone. Females that would be an ideal line to add to part of a bigger mob, or as the foundations for a buyer just starting a a new line.
