Some cows were unsettled in the crush when being weighed and caught in the headbail. They were good to handle in the yards but will rush gateways if not steadied. 1 cow can be aggressive in the yards, although this was not seen during the assessment.

Assessor Comments
Buyers, on offer is a quality line of young first-calf Droughtmaster cows with 20 calves at foot. These cows were selected and purchased as heifers with the plan for them to be retained as breeders and are only being sold due to the dry conditions. Cows are in light condition but are still doing a great job on the calves. 5 dry cows calved out of season and have recently had their first calves weaned. These 5 cows have been running with the bull until August 2026.
