Heifers were pretty good to handle, they could get upset if not handled quietly. We had no problems drafting them quietly but some had potential of wanting to run away but soon relaxed in mob, think will improve as they mature.

Amaroo offers a line of 25 one mark Angus heifers and calves. These young breeders are backed by quality genetics of pure Ben Nevis blood. They display plenty of depth and softness and are good milky heifers. They were purchased as 1 line ex Tamworth Store Sale in May as PTIC heifers, vendor bred by Brahman Pastoral Co. Heifers are well grown to make medium to large frame breeders. Heifers have had all their health treatments. All calves are sired by Ascot, Eaglehawk and XL bulls and have been marked, vaccinated and tagged to correspond with dam. Both heifers and calves were good to handle throughout the process but can get bit excited if not handled gently. Heifers were held back on short feed till they calved and now have been put on abundant crop and are bounding away. Good quality young outfits that have all their lives ahead of them. Heifers were all to calve in a tight 8 wk joining and these are all that calved in first 4weeks. So vendor will have another run of same heifers offered for sale in 3 weeks. Note vendor does have another 34 similar type heifers in todays sale that make a neat 4 decks.
