WELL MANNERED AND HANDLED CATTLE THAT KNEW THE WAY THE YARDS WORKED AND WERE RELUCTANT TO WORK ANY OTHER WAY THAN WHAT THEY KNEW. ODD COW WAS RELUCTANT TO GO UP RACE TO CRUSH, HOWEVER THEYW WERE PREG TESTED ONLY THE DAY BEFOFRE. ODD COW DIDNT WANT TO STAND ON SCALES. DUE TO NO MOUTHING BAR UNABLE TO MOUTH COWS AS THEY WOULD NOT STAND STILL FOR THAT PROCESS.

DISPERSAL OF THE DUFFY COWS. A LONG TIME HERD OF THE MILTON DISTRICT THESE ARE A NICE LINE OF LIM X COWS. THEY HAVE PRODUCED A CALF PREVIOUSLY OR THEY WOULD NOT BE ON THE FARM STILL. COWS HAVE BEEN CONTINUOUSLY JOINED TO A CHAR X LIM AND APRICOT LIM BULL BOTH ARE HOME BRED. SCANNED IN CALF THE PREVIOUS DAY TO ASSESSING ALL COWS DETECTED TO BE 7 + MONTHS IN CALF ARE BEING OFFERED. ALL COWS WALKED AND MOVED WELL ODD COW STARTING TO GO LONGER IN THE TOES BUT NOTHING DETRIMENTAL. A HEAVY CULL WAS TAKEN PLACE PRIOR TO ASSESSMENT. VENDOR HAS ANOTHER 2 LOTS ON OFFER TO GIVE POTENTIAL OF 57 PTIC COWS.
