CATTLE WERE EASY TO HANDLE IN AND AROUND THE YARDS. HEIFERS DISPLAYED TO BE A LITTLE QUICK WHILE GETTING VIDEOED IN A SMALL PADDOCK BUT BLOCKED WELL WITH DOGS AND SETTLED ONCE LEFT ALONE.

AN OPPORTUNITY KNOCKS TO TOP UP YOUR NUMBERS OR GET INTO THE ANGUS MARKET WITH A LINE OF HEIFERS THAT WON'T BREAK THE BANK. THESE HEIFERS ARE GOOD FUNCTIONAL TYPES THAT ARE MODERATELY FRAMED. HEIFERS WERE JOINED TO LOW BIRTH WEIGHT BOOROOMOOKA ANGUS BLOOD HERD BULLS AND ARE DUE TO START CALVING FROM MID JUNE ONWARDS FOR A 8 WEEK CALVING PERIOD. HEIFERS HAVE FRESHENED UP WELL SINCE ARRIVING, CATTLE HAVE SHOWN GOOD DO-ABILITY HAVING BEEN RUN ON NATIVE PASTURE ONLY. PLEASE NOTE ANOTHER LINE OF 42 ANGUS HEIFERS OF A SIMILAR CALVING AND A FURTHER 48 ANGUS HEIFERS DUE FOR A SPRING CALF IN THIS SAME SALE.
