Assessor Comments
A smart line of well bred, one mark Angus heifers which are PTIC to a top quality Clunie Range bull. The heifers are 6 - 7 months in calf and are now doing extremely well on good feed. Originally purchased from breeders at Young, the heifers carry Milwillah and Millah Murrah bloodlines. Most heifers still had milk teeth at assessment with 5 just breaking 2T. The summer and autumn weren't kind to these girls however a late autumn break has turned them around and they are doing extremely well on fresh winter pasture. They are a deep bodied Angus which should develope into nice matrons. Averaging 450kgs at assessment they have a bit of growing to do yet before calving. One heifer had an old abscess sore on jaw which the vet deemed to be healing well and no need for treatment. Please note the vendors have another 25 heifers, similar age and same joining (PTIC) this sale.
