The cows were generally good to handle in the yards and through the crush. Some heifers exited out of the crush quickly but all settled quickly when back in the big yard. Four head were slightly agitated in the crush while another two head were highly agitated. In the bigger yard they moved nicely as a mob and remained calm when being photographed. Nothing aggressive in the mob.

Assessor Comments
A line of fair to very good quality vendor bred heifers with their first calf at foot. These 26 - 30 month old young cows are mostly medium through to large frame and are in strong store condition. They have very good quality Angus cross calves at foot that range from 137 - 269 kg to avg 199 kg full. The 16 male calves are unmarked and average 202 kg while the 10 heifer calves average 195 kg. There is one extra calf given in. The cows have were rejoined to a Mooroobie Angus bull for 3 months from 04/11/23 until 04/02/24. Please note five cows have old scarring from buffalo fly bite marks on the neck region and two cows with slight blue eye scarring. These first calf heifers are doing an excellent job on the calves with the calves big and sappy and mostly weanable now. An opportunity to purchase a tidy line of rejoined soft cross bred heifers with a good quality calf at foot.
