This lot of heifers when I first arrived at the yards were not long run in and were all a little stirry when put up the race for assessing. Once released out into the yard and left on their own for a few minutes their attitude changed significantly and they were nice and content whilst being photographed. They are cattle that definitely do have a bit of run in them but when slowed down and worked calmly there are quite pleasant to work with.

On offer is a line of 25 PTIC Angus females that are too commence calving mid July. This drop of the vendors heifers were culled on weight and type as weaners and this particular group of heifers made it to the joining stage of the vendors program but are now being sold to free up more room for this years weaners. Heifers are Bongongo Blood and are joined to high indexing Bongongo Bulls. These cattle are in excellent calving condition and have maintained their body weight well in what has been a tight season. A well bred line of young breeders that should produce good doing progeny given the opportunity.
