Nice heifers to handle throughout the drafting, weighing and assessing process. An odd heifer was agitated in the crush with all heifers head bailed at assessment but seemed to settle easily once back with their group.

What an opportunity !! One Hundred years of quality Angus breeding on "Bongongo" behind these future breeders, offering 75 heifers over two lots of 50 & 25 being split off the scales by weight and PTIC to commence calving end July. Heifers were preg tested 3rd February and will be repregtested on Monday 25th May prior to delivery for buyer confidence. These heifers come out of the core of the Bongongo retain heifers, joined to selected LBW (BW +0.4 - +3.0) Bongongo & Hazeldean blood sires (paid $16-20k) to commence calving end of July. All joining sires selected for EBV's comprising positive Rib & Rump fat, lower Mature Cow Weight, High Milk with good 600 day weight and high EMA and IMF data and excellent phenotype. Heifers present in generally fresh forward condition. Bred from a great background of roomy proven matrons, these heifers display length, shape and femininity. A very odd heifer had a warts on face and an odd heifer had a white patch on udder/flank. Note photos and videos are of all 75 heifers being offered in this sale.
