Heifers are from a range of sources. The manager uses low stress handling techniques and as such heifers are generally quite sensible. The heifers were pregnancy tested 4 days prior to assessment and as such were a little unsettled with returning to the crush. Generally the heifers settled well whilst in the mob and during processing were fine. Temperament of the heifers in there groups is evident in the video attached.

On offer is the main line of 26 x PTIC Angus Heifers from Greenhills, Exeter. Purchased from various sales in late 2019 and 2020, the heifers were purchased to background, join and sell PTIC. The heifers were joined to Bongongo Angus Sires and scanned by Southern Highlands Veterinary Clinic. This lot was identified by the vet to calve in the first 4 weeks of the calving period. A small percentage of heifers have cloudy eyes, deemed not detrimental. The odd heifer has a splash of white around the udder.
The main line of early calving heifers were assessed as a group of 53 head, they will be sold as a line of 26 head and 27 head and delivered as run out the gate.
