Both cows and calves were good to handle in and through the yards and race during assessment period, with 3 cows getting agitated when too much pressure was applied and moved off back into mob once given space. Cows all walked through gate smoothly please refer to video.

Assessor Comments
A good quality line of predominately Angus 1st calf heifers with 10 considered to be Angus cross. Have been rejoined back to the Angus bulls for a tight 6 week joining period. Bull out, 7/12/23. 9 male calves marked early on, 8 bull calves being marked at assessment with rings. Heifers/calves have been running on a fresh rye grass crop that's of good bulk and are presenting in fresh forward store condition while doing a good job on the calf at foot. Heifers considered being a good medium frame for age. An article of young females to retain as future breeders or to take home to do a further trade job with. Please refer to breed description and video for breakup of description to help make own judgment on breed. 4 cows with white udder. 6 with naval and 4 with slight naval. 1 heifer with buds, 1 Heifer with old pink eye. Not consider to be detrimental.
