Heifers were very well behaved in the back pen, and all led in to the yards proper without any hassles. A small handful (4) that were a bit anxious being drafted. All walked up through the race sensibly, and were mostly well behaved on the scales. 11 listed as slightly stirry, for either some rocking on the scales, or for rushing out. Generally a quiet mob of young females to handle, that will continue to improved with age & handling.

Healthy line of young Angus Heifers that have all shown good fertility, joining up at 10-11 months of age. Out of larger framed pure Rennylea Angus Cows, by Table Top & Fernhill Angus Blood sires. Heifers are showing the effects of a recent cold snap in the weather, and will turn inside out come the spring time on breeding alone. PTIC to a L.B.W Fernhill Angus sire, with just a very short wait until they start calving.
PTIC. Heifers that have had a bit of a check in the recent tougher months.
