Generally a quiet lot of females to handle. All sensible in the back yard, just one that was a bit pushy in the mob, wanting to to get away from the pressure when moving into the smaller yards. Led up the race well, and were all mostly sensible in the crush, 10 listed as slightly stirry for some rocking about and wanting to rush out of the crush. All settled once part of the larger mob again.

Assessor Comments
Healthy young line of rising 3 year old Cows. All successfully delivering and rearing a calf last year, Buying these you know you’re buying a proven breeder with years of productivity, with that risky 1st calf out of the way. These are only moderate framed young cows that won’t eat you out of house & home, but still present those good growthy calves that will hit those early feeder weights. PTIC to the Hicks Beef sires for a mid October calving with the added benefit of that tight single cycle calving window to keep an even drop of calves going forward. Please see photos & video for full contentment.
