Assessor Comments
A good quality line of medium to large framed, Hereford and Hereford cross cows that are generally quiet, easy handling cows. These cows are light in condition, but are doing a tremendous job on their calves. The calves are sired by predominantly Angus bulls, with Hereford, and Shorthorn bulls also featuring. Calf break up is as follows 2 black, 17 black baldy, 3 grey baldy, 4 Hereford, and 2 Shorthorn calves. Calves are May/June drop for the most part, with 1 calf being born in the last 2 weeks. Calves are exhibiting muscle, length and bone for their age, and should grow into very good weaners given the right opportunity. Buyers please note, 2 cows have old pinkeye scaring, deemed not detrimental.
