Temperament not assessed in Paddock
Cows did display some stirriness at assessment. Recent preg test, noisy weigh platform and ear tagging cows while assessing were contributing factors. Cows did get unsettled at assessment, a number were looking to move off weigh platform. It must be said that although they would not normally be seen to be docile cattle the display was uncharacteristic of the cattle generally.

Assessor Comments
A very well presented draft of vendor bred PTIC Angus cows. Cows are rising 7 year old, being March/ April 2017 drop and have been joined to Banquet & Banquet blood Angus bulls. Cows were in terrific order, being principally larger frame and not over fat. They have been pregnancy tested to commence calving early March for 12 weeks. 10% sample mouthed and were good & sound. An opportunity to acquire well bred, nicely presented proven Angus breeders to calve in the Autumn.
