A line of 28 young crossbred cows 445kg with 28 Angus cross calves at foot 181kg that had an opportunity back with Angus bulls since Sept 1st for 8 weeks. The cows present as forward store condition and the calves are very fresh and healthy. Cows are generally easy handling in paddock and yards with a bit of run. Cows are putting everything into their calves and doing a great job, they have been running on grass and clover based pasture and will grow on if fresh feed is available. Watervalley cows are well known for their ease of calving and good doing ability under most environments, they were Dectomax drenched, 7in1 B12 vaccinated on 27th May so are perfect to put straight out. Younger cows and calves have all the hard work done. 2 calves were treated for eyes at assessment but otherwise presented fresh and healthy.
