HERD REDUCTION-PROPERTIES SOLD.
A RUN OF 29 X 29 2ND CALF ANGUS COWS THAT ARE ALL FRAME IN STORE CONDITION. THEY HAVE AUTUMN DROP CALVES OF WHICH SOME ARE SHOWING THE SIGNS OF WINTER & COWS HAVE NOT BEEN REJOINED. THEY HAVE BEEN RUNNING IN THE HILLS IN THE HUNTER THAT HAVE BEEN AFFECTED BY A VERY COLD & WET WINTER. THEY PRESENT IN STORE CONDITION BUT HAVE PLENTY OF UPSIDE. THEY WILL EXPLODE IF TAKEN INTO IMPROVING CONDITIONS. THEY WERE ASSESSED ON A COLD SHOWERY DAY AFTER BEING HELD IN A SMALL PADDOCK FOR A WEEK DUE TO FLOODING, SO SHOULD LOOK TEN TIMES BETTER WITH SOME SUN ON THEIR BACKS AND A BELLY FULL OF FEED. YOU CAN ONLY IMAGINE WHAT VALUE THESE FEMALES WOULD BE WORTH WITH 100KGS OF CONDITION ON THEM.
GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO BUY WELL BRED ANGUS FEMALES WITH EARLY CALVES ON THEM THAT WILL DO WHEREVER THEY ARE DESTINED.
