The cattle generally handle well. There is a few cows that move away in the group. The group blocks up when needed however if given free reign can rush gateways if they have been put under pressure. The calves will settle with an effective weaning schedule.

A great group of 29 x 31 Murray Grey Cows and Calves. Predominantly 2020 Drop cows, there are 3 x older cows. The Christie Family have devoted decades to breeding large framed, well muscled, heavy boned Murray Grey cattle. The Christie family have sought to breed cattle that perform well on pasture with muscling a feature, they have been suppliers to the Coles Grass Fed Program for the past 5 years. This group of females are in good condition with fresh calves at foot, they have been depastured with a Murray Grey Bull since the 15th November. The bull will be removed at assessment. The cows exhibit excellent length and depth of body. Suitable for any Murray Grey Herd or equally suitable to produce terminal calves with heterosis. The Christie Family will also offer another group of cows and calves in today's sale.
