A % OF THE HEIFERS WERE UNEASY IN THE YARDS, WITH SOME WANTING TO STAND AT THE BACK OF THE MOB & WATCH. CALVES WERE SEPERATED FROM MOTHERS FOR THE ASSESSMENT PROCESS. THEY WERE DRAFTED & WEIGHED , THEY SETTLED WELL ONCE LET OUT. A LOT OF EFFORT HAS BEEN PUT INTO THEMTO IMPROVE TEMPERMENT , WHICH HAS WORKED. FURTHER HANDLING WOULD ALSO BE A BENEFIT

LUE STATION OPERATE ON THE TOP END OF THE COFFIN CREEK ANGUS STUD BULLS. THE HEIFERS HAVE BEEN CALVED DOWN @ MONIVAE & REDEPASTURED TO COFFIN CREEK S161. COWS WEIGHED 614-470 KG FULL AV 529 KG. CALVES NOV/DEC '22 DROP BY COFFIN CREEK ANGUS BULLS, 18 STEER CALVES + 11 HEIFER CALVES AV 96 KG. THEY ARE WELL GROWN AND HAVE MANY YEARS OF BREEDING IN FRONT OF THEM. 2 COWS WITH SMALL AMOUNT OF RINGWORM, NECK/FACE. 1 WITH A BIT OF WHITE ON UDDER, 1 COW WAS TREATED FOR SLIGHT PINK EYE @ ASSESSMENT
