AS & KM Cain, 'Oakbank' Heywood, Vic will offer a line of 29 EU accredited Angus/Hereford X Heifers, 21 -22 months, GAR blood, Heifers have been chanced mated to Angus bulls from the 21/5 to 6/7 47 days to Easy calving sons of SAV Thunderbird & Bruiser. Heifers will present in good healthy store condition weighing from 363 to 461kgs to ave 414 kgs at assessment. These Heifers are very well bred could be carried forward and retained as future breeders, or would finished on grass or grain for a quick turn around, Oakbank cattle are run at high stocking rates and heifer will respond quickly given feed in front of them. 1 heifer and slight scaring to the eye at assessment, and a few had slight rubbing to their coat. Vendors also offering 31 Mixed age cows in this sale with same joining.
