Comment on Fat Score 1 Cattle
The leaner cows are doing a great job on the calves but remain fit to travel . Normal practices should be followed travelling distance.

The cows are well handled and worked well through the yards with two strangers. The odd cow was a little twitchy on the scales and one cow backed into the mob as I moved through them but was no trouble.

Assessor Comments
A well bred mob of cows and calves that are showing the benefits of strong bull selection. (see EBV sheets attached) The cows are predominantly younger cows and show good frame and milk. Given room and feed these units will benefit from the warmer weather and go on to rear great calves and put on a heap of weight. This load of cows and calves represent a good opportunity for the successful buyer to add to their herd, or fatten and split some good units in fairly short order.
