The Karana herd can be considered one of the higher quality herds in the Southeast region. It is 100% Angus based, completely vendor bred, EU Acc & focussed on fertility, frame, early maturity & early growth. Historically, weaner steers from the herd are consigned to feedlots in the 450kg range at 12 months of age. Due to good calving percentages over recent times, this line of Karana cows have become available to a purchaser seeking the highest of quality. Without doubt, the cows on offer show all the characteristics sought after in a high quality beef producing operation. Length of body, depth, bone, muscular shape, softness & placid temperament, are all clearly evident in this line. The cows have also stood the test of time, producing and rearing a calf in all of their production years.
Note, Preg Test is as current as possible (12/1) to ensure purchasers can be confident in their purchase.
