AS & KM Cain, 'Oakbank' Heywood, Vic will offer a line of 30 EU accredited Angus & Angus/Hereford X Cows Mixed Aged cows 9.5 to 11.5 years PTIC to commence mid August for 7 weeks, bulls were put in on 15/11 and taken out 1/1(48 days). Cows are Barwidgee, Boonaroo & Ironbark bld, and pregnancy tested in calf by Brad Pickford (28/3) to SAV Thunderbird & Bruiser sons which are low to moderate birth weight, with high growth rates. These cows weighed from 345 to 594 kgs to ave 460kg, they will present in genuine light store condition, they will come with plenty of upside as they have only just weaned a calf. These cows are very well bred and highly fertile they have got in calf and raised a calf each year. They are pleasure to handle. Oakbank cattle are run at extremely high stocking rates, and these cows will responded quickly given feed in front of them. Vendor offering a further 59 PTIC cows and 61 NSM Cows in this sale.
