31 Angus Cows with 32 Calves at Foot. Yellow Tag (2021 Drop) cows carrying Top Alpine bloodlines. Weighed 347-580kg averaging 425kg at assessment. The season has made it very tough, feed has been very short. These cows have put all their energy into their calves. Calves are sired by Bushy Park Angus Bulls. May-June 25 Drop. Average 112kg. Marked 01/09/25. A small number of the calves have ring worm around head. One calf had a sore eye which was treated with opticlox when marked. Both Cows and Calves were given Ultravac 5 in 1. Cows were also drenched with doramectin/ivomec. Cows have been rejoined to Bushy Park Angus Bulls. Bulls were put in 15/7/25 and will be left in until delivery. Approx 2 of the cows have pink eye scarring but not detrimental to the animal. There are a large portion of the cows that have missing fur/signs of rubbing. Injectable drench given 01/09/25. Young cows with their second calve at foot, the cows have picked up since a drench at assessment.
