Cows were well settled in the yards and were easily drafted off from some shorthorn cows in the same mob, prior to assessment. 3 cows were slightly stirry whilst being caught in the head bail for mouthing through the crush, but settled well when let out into a holding yard. One cow was a little nervous/reactive to the presence of a dog in the yards.

Assessor Comments
A very good quality line of young PTIC Angus cows, predominantly 2023 Drop, with 5 x 2022 Drop cows, 3.5 to 5 months in calf to their 2nd & 3rd calves respectively, & joined to registered LBW, excellent quality Angus sires. These PTIC cows are in the most productive phase of their lives, forming part of the vendors core breeders, having survived stringent culling processes in recent times, & are being reluctantly offered for sale, due to continuing very dry conditions. The line consists of classed vendor bred cows which have been bred from top AI TeMania & Reiland sires, combined with cows purchased ex Auctions +, as PTIC heifers from Reiland Angus Stud's commercial herd & a Central Tablelands producer, who sourced leading drafts of Angus heifers out of Victorian weaner sales. These young cows show very good type, temperament & breed quality, & offer high quality future sale progeny, in addition to great genetic improvement for self-replacing breeder operations. Cows in their prime.
