Assessor Comments
A good quality line of well bred, medium framed Angus first calf heifers & calves. These heifers are displaying good conformation & are presenting in fresh store condition. They are doing a terrific job of nurturing a reasonably even drop of sappy calves, in very challenging dry conditions, which are showcasing good shape & softness. These heifers have sacrificed a little bit of condition in maintaining the calves in very dry local conditions, but are still fresh & forward enough to realise very good compensatory weight gains if introduced to better quality, fresher feed. Quiet, easy to handle cattle, bred primarily from quality CAMPBELL FARMS ANGUS seedstock, which should transform very quickly into a very attractive article with access to more available feed. An excellent & rare opportunity to replace old worn out, heavy prime cows, with good quality, 2 for 1 Angus first calver units, with little to no, out of pocket expense, due to a very strong current export cow market.
