AS & KM Cain, Heywood, Vic will offer a quality line of 32 EU accredited Angus X Heifers August/September 2022 drop. PTIC to commence 1st of September for 4 weeks, bulls were put in on 1/12 and taken out 30/12 (30 days). Heifers are SAV and GAR bld, and pregnancy tested in calf by Brad Pickford on 14/2/24 to sons of SAV Rainmaker & GAR Home Town, which are low to moderate birth weight, with high growth rates. These Heifers weighed from 390 to 512 kgs to ave 461kgs, they will present in fresh forward condition. Oakbank cattle are run at high stocking rates with the cow herd medium/moderate frame, with the aim for progeny to have high-explosive growth rates to target feedlot markets. These heifers were all classed in as breeders and are only offered for sale due to the season. Vendors also offering 55 of their straight Angus Sisters in this sale.
