Heifers were a little flighty at the start of assessment, the odd heifer moved around on the scales but they quickly settled when back in the mob. By the end of the assessment cattle had settled down and with more handling will certainly improve the temperament.

33 x High Country Bred PTIC Heifers that were to be retained in herd but now are offered for sale due to the ongoing dry season. Late Spring Calving Heifers out of a herd of Medium frame cows that are predominately Dunoon blood that traditionally calve Oct/Nov. Bred on the vendors eastern property at 700-800 metres elevation and trucked to their Tumbarumba property at weaning. Please note that there is 1 Heifer that is a year older in the draft (weighed 566kg at Assessment & 4 Teeth) that the purchaser can leave out if desired. At assessment there were 7 heifers noted with blue eyes from old pinkeye, see the last of the photos. There is a very small amount of warts on the odd heifer as well.
