34 Quiet Angus and Angus cross Cows with 100% steer calves at foot.
Cows averaged 393Kg Curfewed and a sample of the calves averaged 115Kg.
Cows present in backward store to forward store condition, calves are mostly fresh with i would say the first calvers being healthy but lacking the bloom of the others, these calves are not woody and are recoverable.
The cows are looking for an immediate increase in nutritional intake to sustain themselves and keep the calves going.
A regrettable sale forced by a lack of rainfall over the past eight months.
Cows would be an assett to any purchaser looking to increase their breeding herd or a sound trade option with 100% steer calf at foot and a lot of frame in the cows for their weight. Calves were all marked with rings 12/11 and received their first 5 in 1 on this day.
