Cows and calves were generally good to handle. A few got slightly stirry as the day went on and heated up, separated from calves but overall were good to handle.

Assessor Comments
A neat 2 deck load of 35 Angus cows and calves. These 2nd calvers are in the prime of their life and doing a good job on their calf. They were purchased 2 yrs ago off A+ as yearlings and grown out and joined. Only purchased heifers with reputable breeding with intention to keep as future breeders. Testament to their breeding is their condition these cows are carrying with the limited feed available. They are all Spring drop cows with Angus calves sired by Campsie bulls ranging from 2-14 wks. The bigger calves have been marked but not the younger ones. The Campsie and Swanbrook Angus bulls have been running back with mob since 1st Sept till assessment. Note 2 cows had an eye blemish and was treated at assessment. Please note is another lot of 48 same calving and lot of 17 Autumn calvers in same sale.
