It was the heifers 2nd time through the yards in the matter of few hours, they handled well and settled quickly. Good natured cattle to handle.

Assessor Comments
A very nice line of quality Vendor bred Angus and Angus cross heifers that P.T.I.C to carefully selected Hazeldean and Narin Park Angus bulls. Heifers represent the complete drop of 2022 females of the Yerrawun herd with no females being retained. At time of pregnancy testing heifers have purposely been split into two lines, this group of 35 are the early heifers that joined in their first cycle which should in turn result in very compact calving window for ease of management. Heifers were bred out of a quality cow herd of Hazeldean, Ben Nevis and Baringa Angus bloodlines which has resulted in these extremely soft easy doing females. Production is a stand out factor with this line of heifers that are in calf at 17 -18 months with a top 518 kg to avg 442 kg and will calve down at 2 years old, quality bred heifers not too be missed. Please see another 19 heifers from the same mob that were joined in the 2nd cycle of joining in this same sale.
