Heifers handled with ease through the weighing and drafting process to the point where at times they were a little too slow/quiet working through the race. Only a very odd heifer got agitated on the scales.

Offering 86 PTIC Poll Hereford heifers carrying Minlacowie bloodlines, purposely joined to proven LBW Injemira and Centennial Poll Hereford sires to commence calving end July. This lot represents the second draft of the 86 heifers on offer and were drafted off as being a bit shorter in the leg, were purchased June 2020 and joined to be offered as a large run of recognised bloodline females. These heifers have settled in nicely at Holbrook and were easy to handle through the draft and weighing process, sometimes needing extra encouragement to move through the yards. Noted an odd heifer with old pinkeye scar and one heifer in the mob with red up her neck. Offering this lot of 35 heifers (as well as a 26 + 25 as a run out the gate of 51), total of 86 in this auction. Great opportunity to secure a large run of noted bloodline females, or secure smaller lots to top up your breeding herd.
