Cows were all good to walk around and through whilst in bigger yards; flow very well through a good set of yards. 4 cows became agitated whilst assessing in crush and mouthing, exited crush quickly, but then settled down again shortly after.

A two-deck line of Angus & Hereford X Cows & Calves. These cows are doing a great job, putting everything into their calves, with calves averaging 182kgs at assessment & only 1 calf under 100kg. Calves are very sappy and healthy looking with a good portion already weanable. The Euro cross calves in the mob are very well muscled. Presenting in store condition cows averaged 464kgs at assessment and would be a good heavy line of cows when fat. These units would be ideal trade units for a crop or other soft feed. The younger portion of the mob would also be suitable as replacement breeders, being well tempered and a high percentage of polled cows. Cows are station mated to a very good quality Gowrie Simbrah sire. 3 older cows were noted to have a knocked down hip and 1 cow had a capped hip on each side. 1 cow has a needle lump mark on neck. All calves have been marked bar the lightest male calf; 2 bigger calves had horns tipped after assessment and were treated with Trisolfen.
