35 cows in backward/store condition observed, been fed ample hay 24/7 throughout winter. Had calves taken off in mid-winter. Cattle will handle transport in local area, long distance interstate would not be recommended. No stock noticed as working in yard to be backward & showing low energy/weakness. 20 head mouthed showed strong full mouth. Cows are starting to show benefit of warm weather & will clean up in coat given good quality nutrition. Cows observed sound in feet, udders & mobility.

35 head worked through excellent facilities showing no fear at close quarters and released off handling area with no noticeable flightiness. Cattle have been fed all winter & up to now and are very used to bikes, vehicles, dogs & stock handlers.

35 store conditioned mature females with calves weaned off mid-winter. Depastured with 2 speckle park bulls 7/05/25-16/07/25. 20 mouthed showed full sound mouth including 3 with 1 tooth showing broken off from stone in grazing country. At assessment no faults in feet, hips and udders noticed & showed normal mobility traits. Had recent parasite treatment & up to date vaccination. Cows will clean up rough winter coat given rising plane of nutrition. 2 branded Angus calves (1 steer & 1 heifer). 2 baby speckle park calves which would need separation from adult cattle at transport.
