Cows are excellent to handle. Preg-tested prior to assessment and still good to handle. 3 cows were considered slightly stirry in crush but settled very quickly.

A good line of young Droughtmaster cows that have all been re-joined to a Red Simmental Bull. Calves at foot are sired by a Coota Park Blue-E bull. Calves showed plenty of freshness and average 214kg at assessment. These cows were originally purchased from Hughenden Queensland (Telemon Droughtmasters) as light weight heifer calves and have since been used to breed pure droughtmaster bulls for the past 3 years. The cows are best described as medium to large frame that are in store and forward store condition. The vendor has filled his requirement for replacement bulls and thus joined them to terminal sires. Cows are good to handle through yards and are a pleasure to work with. They are currently 3.5 - 5 months in calf to a straight red Simmental bull which is from Coolibah Simmentals (due to calve July/Aug/Sept 2024). Nice easy care cows that put all the work into their calves.

These cows were purchased as light weight heifers in 2019 from Hughenden QLD direct from Telemon Droughtmaster stud. Heifers have been used to breed bulls for the past 3 years. Bull numbers are now sufficient and have been joined to terminal sires.
