*** A CLASSY LINE OF WELL BRED P.T.I.C ANGUS YOUNG 2ND CALVING HEIFERS *** THESE FEMALES WERE ORIGINALLY PURCHASED OUT OF THE SOUTH FROM LEONGATHA AND MORTLAKE STORE SALE AS WEANERS. HEIFERS WERE CALVED OUT LAST YEAR AND CALVED UNASSISTED, DUE TO THE CURRENT WEATHER CONDITIONS THEIR CALVES WERE WEANED EARLY AND NOW PRESENT IN GREAT CONDITION AND BACK IN CALF. CATTLE RANGED FROM O TO 4 TEETH WITH HEAVIEST HEIFER HAVING 4 TEETH AND WEIGHING 714 KILOS. HEIFERS WERE JOINED TO THE TRUSTED GLEN AVON SIRES TO START CALVING APPROXIMATELY FROM MID JULY ONWARDS FOR A TIGHT 8 WEEK JOINING PERIOD. THIS LINE OF CATTLE HAVE CONTINUED TO GROW OUT REALLY WELL WITH FEMININITY, STRETCH AND SOFTNESS BEING JUST SOME OF THE ATTRIBUTES OF THESE QUALITY FEMALES. PLEASE NOTE THE ODD HEIFER WITH OLD PINK EYE SCARRING. A GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO SECURE A WELL BRED LINE OF ANGUS FEMALES THAT WOULD NOT LOOK OUT OF PLACE IN ANY ANGUS BREEDING PROGRAM.
