WOULD CLASS THE CATTLE MORE SO IGNORANT. ONCE CATTLE ARE PRESSURED IN ANY FACET THEY BECOME FRACTIOUS QUITE QUICKLY. ONCE PRESSURE IS REMOVED THEY SETTLE , BECOME MORE MANAGEABLE. NOTHING AGGRESSIVE AT ALL - JUST VERY LITTLE BLOCK ONCE PRESSURED. MORE SUITED TO THE MORE EXPERIENCED CATTLEMEN/CATTLE WOMEN.

A DRAFT OF YOUNG ANGUS INFUSED FEMALES THAT HAVE JUST WEANED THEIR FIRST CALF. BRED BY 'BROAD CATTLE CO.' IN CENTRAL AUSTRALIA, THESE YOUNG HEIFERS WERE PURCHASED BACK IN 2022 TO INCREASE BREEDING NUMBERS FOR ADDITIONAL LEASE COUNTRY FOR THE LA PALMA BREEDING OPERATION. PART OF THE LEASE COUNTRY HAS NOW CEASED, HENCE THE SALE OF THESE FEMALES. THERE ARE 63 IN TOTAL OVER 2 DRAFTS IN THIS SALE, WITH THE VENDOR RETAINING THE MORE SLICK COATED, BOS INDICUS STYLE FEMALE TO REMAIN IN THE BREEDING HERD. JOINED TO THE VENDORS OWN BRED ULTRABLACK SIBBLING BULLS, ALL THESE YOUNG FEMALES WEANED THERE 1ST CALF ON THE 27/5/2024. SOME HEIFERS ARE STILL QUITE BAGGED FROM THE WEANING PROCESS.
