Cows walked into the yards with ease. The vendor handled the cows drafting calves off in the round yard. Generally cows would peel off and move through the yards and race. Some would move through quicker than others. Odd cow would be agitated in the crush however settled once let out. Vendor uses low stress techniques to handle the cattle, not applying pressure.

Assessor Comments
A nice line of Brahman & Brahman composite cows with fresh calves at foot by the Angus bull ( note one red calf one white and four calves with white face). Cows are only just starting to benefit from improved seasonal conditions and prior to this the cows having been milking well give the calves a very good start as they are all very fresh. Cows present in strong store condition and given the right opportunity should continue to improve in condition and raise a very nice calf. Previously these cows have produced Angus cross calves that have grown out very well and targeted feeder and kill markets. Cows have been joined since 1/11/23 to the Pharo Angus bulls which will remain in till delivery. One younger calf in the mob all others have had two by 7-1 vaccinations and male calves have been marked.
