Heifers move off the person freely in smaller yard, although were slightly agitated due to their calves being locked off them for the night. When Heifers were released into a cooler for photos, they were very settled.

An opportunity to secure a line of 36x37 (set of twins) Hereford X Heifers and Calves, that are milking heavily, and have been joined to Charolais and Angus bulls. Heifers had an average live weight at assessment of 367kg curfewed, and the calves had an average live weight of 144kg curfewed. Heifers are doing an excellent job on their calves, and the Heifers themselves are starting to move along very well. Heifers were joined to a Charolais bull from the 27/08/21 until assessment. An Angus bull was introduced on the 25.09.21 and also pulled out at assessment. A Small amount of ringworm observed in some calves, not affecting them. One calf seemed to be dry in the coat, but is the youngest of the lot.
