The cows were very good to handle in the yards (see video) with the exception of one grey heifer that moved away quickly from any pressure. In the crush nine head were mildly agitated in and exiting the crush - all settled quickly in mob. In the paddock they are educated to electric fences including single wire electric fences and are trained to regular moves on bikes and side by sides.

A fair to mostly good and very good quality line of young crossbred PTIC Cows. These medium to large frame cows who have just weaned their first calf in mid May. They will be rising 3yrs old at the end of 2023. They are vet preg tested 3 - 6 months in calf to either Angus or Speckle Park bulls (see bull list - EBV's available). There are 3 head x 3 months PTIC, 9 head x 4 months, 22 head x 5 Months, 3 head x 6 months - EID with months in calf list available on request. They were purchased as joinable heifers from Mitchell in January 2022 and then joined early last year. Another five Santa cross young cows were vendor bred from purchased Santa x cows and are the same age group. One cow noted with a moderate blue eye scarring in one eye. They are located just south of Wyaga on the Gore Highway and would be able to work in with trucks moving north and south. Nice quality young cows that have their entire breeding future ahead of them.
