On offer is a fantastic line of mainly young cows, with 25 calves at foot and 10 left to calve that were PTIC. They are in prime/forward store condition and enjoying a wonderful season. Cows were purchased ex Augathela from the Elmes family of Plevna who have a well established, fertile and productive herd. They have used top quality bulls and the quality in the cattle presented truly shows in what is being offered. They show fantastic length and bone along and weight for age with the majority being young breeders, two older cows were mouthed with one sound and one wearing. There wouldn't be a doubt on them doing a good job on a calf at this point. The cows would be very heavy over the hooks or continue to be great breeders. The calves range from 95 - 337kg for an average weight of 220kg giving buyers immediate return on investment. One cow was noted to have blueish eye. The odd cow was seen with some old fly bite although it was not seen as detrimental. Calves marked at assessment
