Assessor Comments
A Very good quality line of 5 to 8 year old Angus cows and calves on offer, this line of females and their calves come from a breeding program of 25 years that are a base of New England genetics including Wattle Top, Glenavon and Bridge water Angus blood lines. Cows were sent from Walcha in the New England region of Northern New south Wales to Binalong back in April. Cows have taken advantage of the great season in the south and now present in great forward condition and have since calved out, calves present very fresh and sappy from full udders. Calves range from 2 to 11 weeks old and have yet to be marked, a saleable advantage of 25 male calves makes up the majority of calves at foot. Cows have shown great constitution, staying in calf in very tough seasonal conditions early in their pregnancy to then responding to very favorable conditions in the south over the past months to now having full udders and sappy calves flowing behind. A great opportunity to get a line of proven Angus breeders that have many breeding seasons in front of them.

Stock History
Majority of cattle are vendor bred with only a very few that were purchased as heifers. Cows went south on agistment back in April of 26 from the New England, cows starting calving mid from July onwards.

Cows came out of very tough and dry conditions back in April, since calved and now looking incredible cows will fit back into any quality breeding program to continue to produce quality offspring.
