Heifers flowed the the yards nicely, a few were a bit agitated when put under pressure. Considering these heifers were preg tested and vaccinated the day prior to assessment, they traveled up the race easily and settled quickly.

A good run of 38 Speckle Park/Droughtmaster cross heifers, Wattle Grove bloodlines, preg-tested for their first calf to Speckle Park bull ADELSON KALEB Q24 and commercial speckle park bull. Heifers were preg-tested 3 to 7 months in calf. 2 are just under 4 months, the rest are over 4 months. Soft heifers showing good femininity and bone structure. An ideal cross for breeders that combines the ease of calving and high growth rate of Speckle Parks with the depth of body and resilience of Droughtmasters. These heifers have their entire breeding life ahead of them and should produce top quality progeny. Heifers were quiet natured, with a few getting agitated when under pressure but settling quickly. A few heifers had slight muscle soreness which can be seen in the video, this is only due to receiving two vaccines the day prior. One heifer was treated for blight on the day of assessment and a few had old blight scarring. Vendor has another lot in this sale.
