These heifers were very good to work with in the yards. Even when tightened up through gateways they flowed steadily. A fair percentage became agitated when in head bale to mouth. Most stood on scales without fuss. Once back in the mob they returned to being settled and easy to manage and move. There were no animals aggressive.

Presenting a very nice line of one mark large framed Angus and Black Baldy heifers with first calf at foot and depastured back to the Wargundy Stud Angus bull. The sample weighed averaged 522kg after 2 hrs in yards. The Angus calves are fairly even generally with three later calves which are noticeably smaller. The mothers seem to be milking quite well reflecting in the freshness of the calves. Two cows showed more Hereford type markings(pics). The calves show very good bone and length. They average 163 kgs and are all marked. The heifers are well bred and display plenty of frame. Observed 1 heifer with a spot on her eye (pics). There are 15 steer calves and 23 hfr calves. These young units are good, big quiet breeders with a quick return. On sample mouthed, we only found 4 six tooths. The majority were four with some two's. They will be heavy cows fat. Faithfully joined for 81 days. A lovely lot of young cows to take you into the bright cattle future.
